Some French Things Are Real
The French, they were never ones for having a spirited or minimalistic edge. The irony is, all the worldy avant garde minimalist denim purveyors—you know Swedish Acne, American Rag & Bone and Dutch G-Star-they aren’t just love children of Helmut Lang & Levis. More simply put, Frenchies Marithe + Francois Girbaud made denim both relative and ahead of its time…starting with the hip hop scene of the 90’s. And today they’re still ahead of the denim game.
